A VIBRANT SPACE AT PLATEFORME 10
At the heart of the Plateforme 10 arts district in Lausanne, Les Arcades occupied by ABoT (Art Books on Tour) will be open to all those who make and love books: authors, publishers, artists, artisans, bookbinders, typographers, papermakers, and curious readers. The space is conceived as a place for meeting and experimentation, where book culture is expressed in all its dimensions—artistic, material, and human.
The ambition is both simple and strong: to bring books to life in all their diversity by animating the space through meetings, writing workshops, book signings, public discussions, readings, demonstrations of craftsmanship, and thematic exhibitions. Throughout 2026, each trimester a new exhibition will dress the windows and inspire the programming, making the ABoT Arcades a place in constant motion.
More than an exhibition space, ABoT Arcades is a platform for dialogue and transmission. It connects thought and material, creation and gesture, craftsmanship and speech. It showcases and shares the vitality of art books and artists’ books, while highlighting Swiss and international contributors who help extend their reach.
By joining this adventure, authors, publishers, and partners take part in creating a unique cultural ecosystem within Plateforme 10: a place where the book becomes a ground for collaboration, learning, and shared inspiration. To bring the ABoT Arcades to life is to bring the book to life—in all its forms, and for all audiences.

Opening reception of the exhibition House of Books by Franck Bohbot, presenting his vision of the world’s most beautiful libraries. Curated by Philippe Ungar.

Discussion with several authors from the Association Vaudoise des Écrivains (AVE) on inspiration and the creative process.

The art&fiction association presents its Portraits book collection, in the presence of several authors.

PERFORMANCE: “J’ATTENDS DE TES NOUVELLES” / “ASPETTO TUE NOTIZIE”
Autobiographical performance by / with Claudio Colangelo

Duration: 1h05 – Suitable for audiences aged 13 and over
Southern Italy. Parents write to their son, who almost never replies. Twelve years of a one-way epistolary relationship. On stage, a single actor portrays three characters: the son Donatangelo and his parents, Nicola and Linda. Through tenderness, humor, and emotion, they love, argue, forgive each other… and ultimately reveal themselves.
